The Reverend George C. Silides delivers humorous and thought provoking sermons. Spiced with imitations, pantomime and story telling to take the congregation through the lesson. Each sermon draws the listener towards a punch line that makes the listener suddenly realize the lesson pertains more to themselves than they had initially assumed. A friendly congregation will warm you even if you're only in town for the day. While rebuilding the church following a fire in 2006, services are being held at St. Anne's Parish nearby. This is a mixed blessing, as the seating is in individual chairs which are easy to push past during the passing of the peace. I'm sure there are some in this friendly congregation who'll be vaulting the pews to shake your hand when they are in their new home.
